Sadhana Forest

Sadhana Forest is a reforestation project and a volunteer community designed around compassion. It is a place where compassion is embedded into the smallest detail of daily life. Veganism, non-violent communication, solar and human powered energy, biodegradable toiletries, riding bicycles, recycling, food composting, construction from local and natural materials, dry compost toilets, water-efficient hand washing – these are all components of an attempt to live harmoniously with our environment and everyone who we share it with. We invite you to live a transformative lifestyle in which acting compassionately is the norm.
